Design system consultation — understand product, research landscape, propose complete design system and generate DESIGN.md

Input: $ARGUMENTS — product or feature to design a system for.

Apply the dog:design-consultation skill to produce a complete design system from scratch.

The skill will:

  1. Understand — Ask clarifying questions about the product, target audience, brand values, and constraints
  2. Research — Survey design landscape: competitors, industry conventions, reference design systems
  3. Propose — Present design system proposal: color palette, typography, spacing scale, component library plan, and motion principles
  4. Iterate — Refine based on feedback until approved
  5. Generate — Create DESIGN.md as the project's design source of truth
  6. Preview — Optionally generate preview pages to visualize the proposed system

Output: DESIGN.md — canonical design spec referenced by all UI work.

Use when: starting a new project with no design system, or when "design system", "brand guidelines", or "create DESIGN.md" is requested. For reviewing an existing design: use /dog:design-review instead.
