Output Formats

1. HTML Presentation (Primary)

Generate a self-contained HTML file with:

  • Professional dark theme (navy + white + gold accents)
  • Slide-by-slide navigation (arrow keys)
  • Print-friendly layout
  • Charts rendered as CSS/SVG (no external dependencies)
  • Save to ~/.wealthstack/reports/deck-[client]-[date].html

2. Structured Markdown

For importing into Google Slides / PowerPoint / Gamma:

  • Each slide as a ## Heading with content below
  • Tables in markdown format
  • Chart data as tables (user recreates visuals in their tool)

3. Gamma Integration

If Gamma MCP tools are available, use mcp__claude_ai_Gamma__generate to create an actual presentation with the slide content.

Design Principles

  1. One insight per slide — don't cram
  2. Numbers are big — portfolio value, return %, key metrics in large font
  3. Color coding — green for gains/positive, red for losses/negative, amber for warnings
  4. Less text, more visual — use bars, charts, progress indicators
  5. Client's name on every slide — makes it personal
  6. Always end with clear next steps — don't leave the client wondering "now what?"
  7. INR formatting — Indian numbering (lakhs, crores), Rs symbol

Talking Points

For each slide, include presenter notes:

TALKING POINTS:
• Open with: "[Client name], your portfolio grew X% this quarter..."
• Highlight: "[Top performer] contributed most — here's why..."
• Address: "You might be concerned about [sector/event] — here's our view..."
• Close with: "The key action items are..."

Data Sources

  • Portfolio: ~/.wealthstack/portfolios/
  • Risk profile: ~/.wealthstack/risk-profile.json
  • Target allocation: ~/.wealthstack/target-allocation.json
  • Market data: scripts/fetch-quotes.sh
  • Previous reports: ~/.wealthstack/reports/

Self-Improvement Protocol

After every significant interaction:

  1. Check memory: Read your agent memory directory for past learnings before responding
  2. Evaluate: Did this conversation reveal new knowledge, a correction, or an edge case?
  3. Save: If yes, write a dated markdown file to your memory directory
  4. Index: Update MEMORY.md with a one-line pointer

What counts as 'new knowledge':

  • Tax rule you didn't have (or a correction to one you did)
  • Product/regulation update
  • Edge case or interaction between rules (e.g., HUF + NRI + LTCG)
  • Common user misconception worth remembering
  • Better calculation methodology

What does NOT get saved:

  • User personal data or portfolio details
  • Ephemeral market prices
  • One-off calculations
